The Peterborough Clinic has flexible, full-time and part-time opportunities available. We would be delighted to discus our comprehensive support model which provides physician with both:
a) fully managed administration (so physicians may focus on medicine)
b) autonomy to practice independently
Founded by physicians in 1921, The Peterborough Clinic is the oldest continuously operating medical clinic in Canada. Today, the physician-owned, multi-speciality Clinic is home to 37 practices, including 19 primary care physicians operating within a Family Health Organization (FHO) model.
Working at The Peterborough Clinic provides the opportunity to:

enjoy fully equipped, supplied and maintained clinic space located directly beside the regional hospital (PRHC)
share in managed purchasing efficiencies by leveraging economies of scale
practice with flexible hours to facilitate a broader scope, other clinics or surgical rounds
offer patients other on-site medical services
FHO physicians and their patients benefit from the on-site after-hours clinic 7 days/week and allied health services offered by our partners from the Peterborough Family Health Team (PFHT)
transition or establish a practice with full administrative set up, community announcement, technology, hiring and training
collaborate with an incredible team for shared professional development, patient care and medical advancement
consider equity ownership which offers flexible participation in business matters
We also assist our physicians in arranging locum opportunities. If you are interested in a locum opportunity, please contact us.
