Dr. C. L. Freeman MD, CCFP, Dip.Derm MSc
Dr. Christie Freeman is a family physician with a full-time focused practice in Dermatology. She first joined the Clinic as a partner in 2000 practicing solely family medicine before changing her focus to full-time dermatology. She moved into private practice in the community in 2007. In 2017 Dr. Freeman returned to the Clinic where she continues her focus in dermatology at Derm @ the Clinic.
Dr. Freeman completed her family medicine residency at McMaster University in 2000. She received her Diploma in Practical Dermatology from the University of Wales, Cardiff in 2003 and her Masters of Science in Practical Dermatology from the same institution in 2011. She was granted her Fellowship from the College of Family Physicians of Canada in 2017. Dr. Freeman is also an assistant professor in the department of family medicine at Queen’s University.
In her spare time, Dr. Freeman enjoys singing with the Peterborough Singers and has been involved in various musical theatre productions with the Peterborough Theatre Guild and St. James Players. She has been living in Peterborough since 2000 with her family.
Dr. Freeman’s office is a specialty practice that requires a referral from a physician and/or nurse practitioner.
