Dr. Matheson joined The Peterborough Clinic in July 2022, specializing in family medicine. He also provides palliative care as a Community Palliative Care Physician. Dr. Matheson earned his Medical Doctorate from the University of Ottawa in 2014 and completed his Family Medicine Residency through Queen’s University in 2016.

In addition to work, Dr. Matheson is the Steerperson for the Peterborough Dragon Boat Festival. He is the loving husband to Allison and father to Lucy and Margo. Dr. Matheson also enjoys taking part in local activities like the Peterborough Quacks Hockey Club, the Ultimate Frisbee League, and 100 Men of Peterborough.
