Dr. J. A. Hewitt, MD, MSc, CCFP, Dip. Sports Med., DABFM CAQSM
The Peterborough Clinic is pleased to announce the affiliation with primary care physician Dr. Jessica Hewitt, commencing April 1st.
This will be a part-time family practice. Dr. Hewitt will be sharing her time with her Sports Medicine practice.
No new patients will be accepted at this time.
Dr. Hewitt is no stranger to The Peterborough Clinic and the community. She has been providing exemplary primary care Locum and Sports Medicine coverage since 2023.
Dr. Hewitt completed her BSc in Kinesiology and MSc in Physical Therapy. She received her medical training at the University of Limerick; then completed her Family Medicine residency at Indiana University, where she was a Chief Resident. She went on to complete her Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic, OH.
Dr. Hewitt is also highly active in various sports and in the world of hockey providing physician coverage to The Peterborough Petes.
