Dr. Lawrence Ebisuzaki joined the Peterborough Clinic in 2002.

He received a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science at the University of Toronto in Biochemistry. He then completed a Medical Doctorate followed by a General Surgery Residency at the University of Toronto. Dr. Ebisuzaki spent an additional year in a Clinical Fellowship at the University of Toronto and St. Joseph’s Health Centre.

Dr. Ebisuzaki specializes in the field of General Surgery. He holds appointments at The Peterborough Regional Health Centre as a General Surgeon and Investigating Coroner. In addition to those, he is an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Medicine at Queen’s.

Dr. Ebisuzaki’s practice includes both ambulatory and inpatient surgery (open and minimally invasive) which is performed at the Peterborough Clinic and at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre. His practice includes (but is not limited to): surgery of benign and malignant breast disease, upper endoscopy and colonoscopy, gallbladder surgery, gastrointestinal surgery, colon and rectal surgery, anal surgery, and abdominal wall (hernia) surgery.

Dr. Ebisuzaki is a Fellow with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and the American College of Surgeons. He is a member of the American Society of Breast Cancer Surgeons and the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons
